What should the AI never do?
A pizza order is not the place for a confident guess. The pilot design draws a hard line around what the AI is allowed to decide on its own:
- Never guess an ambiguous order. If a caller says "the usual" or names a topping combination not on the menu, the AI asks a clarifying question or hands off rather than picking the likely option.
- Never answer an allergy or ingredient-safety question. Allergen questions go straight to a person; menu text alone is not a safe substitute for a kitchen answering in real time.
- Never quote a delivery time it cannot actually know. That estimate has to come from the restaurant's own systems or staff, not an AI guess.
- Never take an order outside the delivery zone as if it were inside it. Zone and minimum-order rules are checked before the call continues.
